Freedom

He tells me you are "his"
That you "belong" to him
You are owned?
Are you a slave?
I will gladly set you free
Your beauty needs space
Your nature is to be free
Not chained by a man
Who claims you are his
Open your mind
And open your heart
Let my love in
And be free as a bird
To do as you wish
We'll frolic through fields
Walk hand in hand
Sit under a waterfall
And watch the sun set
I'll love you forever
And not chain you up
I'll hold you forever
Keep you warm and safe
But you will always be free
To do as you wish

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Vita, in the year 483 AD.
