Why I cry (Pax)

There was no funeral for you,
But the skies werent so blue.
With you, I stayed by your side.
When I wasnt with you, I cried.

No one expected you to die,
But at night when I lie,
I cant help but wonder why.
Why do I cry?

You changed races with a knife,
Just so you could please your wife.
And then when she was gone,
You werent all alone.
(you had me)

No one expected you to die,
But at night when I lie,
I cant help but wonder why.
Why do I cry?

Winter turned to spring,
And I still wear your ring.
I know you cant hear me, brother
Why do I bother?

No one expected you to die,
But at night when I lie,
I cant help but wonder why.
Why do I cry?

I looked up at the rain,
And realized why Im in pain.
I cant believe its true...
I... love... you...

No one expected you to die,
But at night when I lie,
I no longer wonder why.
Because this is why I cry.

In memory of Pax Tadrianus. May your spirit always be remembered, for I
will cry for you.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Fas, in the year 484 AD.
