Beauty

Ask me for what I search
Question me for what I believe
Wonder what is the purpose of this venture
And inquire what I hope to achieve
I believe my life, my most precious gift
I lead it out of love, not duty
My purpose is to give all that I can
My search... My search is always for beauty
Endless dreams and tireless faith
Through sleepless nights and working hours
Walks along sandy star-lit beaches
Dances among flowing wildflowers
Bottomless runs the well of my hopes
From which I draw my devotion and strength
I judge my goals by what they'll bring
Not by their price or their road's length
Every moment holds it's worth whether
Living a reality or chasing a dream
For I stay in touch with what I am
I am consistent to my heart's theme
You see, I do not wish to store a wealth
Of things that take but cannot give
I spend my love to gain, my love
For me, it is the only way in which to live
Let every man have a creed
Something for him to honour and live by
Let every man have a goal
Something for him to take and give by
By how I honour what I perceive as my duty
Because I live, love, hope, and pray
For what I value most.... I live for beauty

You are so beautiful to me, my dearest. I miss you.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Artificium, in the year 491 AD.
