Hope Arises

From the toss of the simulacrum,
I knew it was something different,
your words opening that door,
that had been closed ages before.

I was thinking back today,
and I remember everything.
Follow me, wherever I may go.

There was something I forgotten,
but how could I not forget you.
Taking what comes along,
I still hope for things to come.
No one knows how far away I feel at times,
but being with you drags me back in.

Each day that passes,
I feel more,
your becoming the sunlight on my face,
and your the one I can't seem to replace.
Everything just seems to fall apart without a trace.

Sit back and enjoy the ride,
taking things with each stride.
The feelings you roused up are a different kind,
and I have been sorting them out, passing the time.
With you standing next to me,
I seem to feel,
different for once,
fully healed....

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Solis, in the year 496 AD.
