Cloud ridden night

Written by: Kaliee Farrell

The clouds filter the light,
As the obvious be seen,
That you don't want me.

Not a word spoken,
Not even the time of day,
To sooth all my worries away.

You were a spark of hope,
A reachable goal,
A key to happiness..
After all these years.

You exist in my heart,
And my mind alike,
But in my life you fail to see.

The love you give,
Like no other before,
Seeking for a lifetime.

The pains, the joys,
The trials and tribulations,
To share with you.

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Ferinus, in the year 497 AD.
