What is it I desire in this world?

The fear of loneliness,
The pain and suffering,
The gentle embrace of nature,
Or the warmth of love.

Whatever it may be,
Wherever it roams,
I will track it down,
For it lives not here.

The beauty around us,
Graceful with every bound,
Though heart warming,
Is never enough.

There's more to life,
I know there is,
But to find such rarities,
A helpless journey.

Be it above or below,
This way or that,
It exists in all of us,
And lets true love shine.

Penned by my hand on the 24th of Halitus, in the year 502 AD.
