(Brief) Odes to Nature

Contrasts

The warm Solis breeze
The icicle glinting, drip
Nature's wide spectrum

--------------------------
Nature's Day

Spring, the Awakening,
The morning of the year
Wet breezes, fresh rains
The vibrantly colored flora

Summer, the Maturation
A radiantly serene era
Mellow nights, lazy haze
Sweet honeysuckle kiss

Autumn, the Harvest
Time of rewards seeds sown
Brisk air, leaves of -
Fire from burning summer sun

Winter, the Great Sleep
When Nature lays down her head
Snowflakes swirling, blanket white
Snugly dreaming next year's art

Penned by my hand on the 1st of Aequitas, in the year 503 AD.
