Veiled

Written by: Verexa Rhuidean

I prefer to be veiled
I don't want to see
The truth falls like hail

My sun's hidden away,
You've left me blind
My skies turned utterly grey

I shined for you,
Tell me you're sorry
But now I'm only blue

I wish it were easy
Let's go back to the start
Your scent still renders me uneasy

Breathe me in, let me out
Digest what I've said;
I don't want to shout.

Penned by my hand on the 13th of Bellum, in the year 551 AD.
