The heart of me

Written by: Luvecerviere, Evijan Vollice, Landstrider

Addressed to: Everyone

If I had a dagger that could cut that deep
I would cut out the heart of me
I would take off the pieces of you

If I had a fire hot enough
I would burn away the hurt in me
I would burn away the thought of you

But nothing seems to dull the pain
Nothing lessons the load
I struggle through each hour each day
Just to survive and get over you

I will stand again, unbent
I will walk forward and not back
I will find a moment unpsent
Gain a purpose, walk a line of conviction

Not all words come out right for me
Sound thoughts muttled by emotion
But I am this and I am not that
I am striving and I will keep pressing

Until the suns align and the moons rejoin
I will never give up trying to find who I am
I am here, home, and I will press forward
Leaving what was thought my way, behind my back

I might be bleeding and broken
I might be battered and bruised
But it is from the ashes of a corpse in the flame
That a soul can rise rightoues again, can rise true.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Solis, in the year 560 AD.
