Winter's Prayer

Written by: Ysabel Kulmyrric
Date: Thursday, November 13th, 2008
Addressed to: Everyone

Father, I feel the chill of darkness hugging close,
amidst the moon lit snows and quiet boughs.
It seems that all I known has left,
while memories still cling of smells, of touches, of laughter.
You are here with me in the Winter's embrace,
a reminder and a comfort to stave off the cold,
that I may never be alone as I,
as the world heals and renews.
Let me rest to walk the wheel once more.

Penned by my hand on the 6th of Ultio, in the year 564 AD.
