Herb Ban Situation

A rather belated reply -

The city of Antioch is regretful that the Forestal organisations see the
loss of magicks as a bad thing.

Our errant War Minister was only doing what he thought was right and
good, that is, cleansing the pure nature of the wilds from the impure
taint of magicks. In the deepest depths of his heart he thought he was
doing the wilds a favour, restoring it to it's pristine and natural
cleanliness.

He bears the disfavour of myself and the city for his audacity in acting
alone in this fashion, without the order or support of the Antiochan
council. It was actions most unbecoming of a duly appointed minister of
the city, to act in a warlike fashion without the approval of the city
leaders.

The Antiochan council values the good-will of the forestal
organisations, and offers their apologies for the warlike actions of one
of their own, however we continually hope and pray that you can find a
better use for your money than the continuing despoilment of the wilds
with crude magicks.

Icarius

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Aequitas, in the year 431 AD.
