14.3 Mining

Under the guise of a restoration project, an effort is being made to empty the
valuable veins of precious metals under the Batrisian Outpost. They are always
looking for additional miners so you just might be able to earn a bit of gold
for a new pair of trousers or that dress you've had your eye on.

In order to be of any use you will need to secure a PICK from the dwarf heading
up the mining detail, Haldis. You'll need to WIELD PICK and then find a spot
where the mines need to be extended further. Once you find such a place you can
MINE ROCK.

Once you've collected a nice amount you can head back to Haldis to see what
he's paying for them. Be sure not to let the rocks pile up or you will have
trouble moving around.
