12.11.4 Blackthorne
In the year 550 AA, Stavenn discovered a new race deep in the jungles that came to be known as the kohdon. With their thick, massive tails and girth, Stavenn saw a new warrior for their Empire. With promises of wealth and glory on their tongues, Stavenn convinced several of the kohdon to return to the Empire with them. It was not long before a small village was founded and the kohdon were moved there, and Blackthorne was founded. It was little more than a breeding grounds and training encampment for these newfound kohdon. They were brutally trained in the ways of combat, and soon became the Empire's front line in conflict.
Some decades ago, a massive mudslide closed off the town of Blackthorne and it was thought none had survived. Little did Stavenn realize that even in their forced seclusion, Blackthorne thrived, and many continued to train in the glory of the Empire's ways. Not all were pleased with this way of life, and if you look deep enough within the Keep of Blackthorne, you may find a group of rebels just waiting for their chance at glory.
