23.7 Combat Auras
The aura system is made to help you recognize when you have a valid reason to attack another character, and when someone has a valid reason to attack you.
Keep in mind that a character might attack you even if you don't have one of the following auras, as the system does NOT cover all the possible reasons why your character might be targeted. When that happens, fall back to role-playing and inquire about their reasons before issuing someone. Jumping right into issues such as "Bob killed me and I didn't have an aura" is in most cases NOT the right decision, and it will not help your case.
Aura list
---------
o Bounty - You will get this aura when an organization files a bounty on you, and lose it once the bounty is claimed. Beside you, only the characters that can claim your bounty can see this aura.
o Champion - You will have this aura as long as you are a Champion.
o Leyline - You'll gain this aura when you influence a leyline intersection, and it will automatically disappear after a while.
o Monolith - You'll have this aura as long as you control at least one monolith.
o Obelisk - You'll have this aura while you are on an island with an Obelisk that is under attack. Leaving the contested island will remove the aura.
o Raid - Aura given while you are a raider.
o Shardfall - You'll gain this aura when you harvest a shard on a shardfall, and it will automatically disappear after a while. You will, however, not get the aura when you harvest shards that aren't a part of a shardfall.
o Special shards - You'll have this aura as long as you are holding at least one special shard.
