11.2.3 Cult and Sect Altar
The cult/sect altar is a focal point of activity for its cult or sect. Many of the rituals can only be performed at the altar. Additionally, the altar is capable of storing various custom actions and later performing them. These actions take the form of room messages, displayed at the altar, and are intended to facilitate various custom rituals and other roleplaying scenarios.
In cults, only the leader may perform these actions. In sects, those with the "ritualist" privilege may do so.
CULT/SECT ALTAR ACTION LIST
Lists the defined actions. An altar can store up to 100 actions.
SECT ALTAR ACTION SET <name> <text>
Stores an action for later usage. The following sequences can be used:
$TARGET - name of the individual that the action is targeted at (defaults to the performer)
$HE - target's gender
$HIS - possessive pronoun referring to the target
$HIM - pronoun referring to the target
SECT ALTAR ACTION CLEAR <name>
Removes a defined action.
SECT ALTAR ACTION PERFORM <name> [target]
Performs the pre-defined action, displaying it to everyone present at the altar. If the target name is specified, the target needs to be present at the altar. If no target is specified, the action is targeted at the individual who performs it.
