24.3.12 Customisation
If you are looking for a bit more of a unique look, customized items may be the way to go. This file outlines the commands needed to submit a custom item and the rules surrounding them.
What can I customise?
You can customise any artifact, with the exception of pets that have been collared. Pets wearing a Collar of Customisation(HELP TOKEN WARES) can be customized. You can customize fullplate armour which you have crafted, or a crystal created with Crystalbinding. You may customize deathknight hounds; templar falcons; runeguard kestrels; druid golems; predator wolves, bears, hawks, and spiders; bard songbirds; cleric seraphs; defiler hounds and treants; outrider icewyrms; hunter basilisks; diabolist ouroboros; engineer familiars and gyrocopters; and assassin/renegade cobras.
You can also customise all of the loyal mobs in a house or shop that you have purchased via those systems. Keep in mind, if it is a city house or shop, and it is removed from your ownership, you will NOT get a refund for the customisation.
What can't be customised?
Everything not listed above. You cannot customise weapons, armour, clothing, pets, vials, etc.
What does customisation do?
A customised item will have any descriptions you decide to assign to it. If they do not currently reset to you, then they will not do it after customisations. Thus, if your newly customised pet is killed, or if your armour is stolen, you will NOT be getting it back.
What does it cost?
Fullplate, crystalbinding crystal, and guild pet customisation are free. Everything else has a 50 credit charge.
What other rules are there?
When describing your item, it must still be the same item. A longsword must still be a longsword. It cannot be a broom or anything else. If your descriptions do not follow this rule, they will be rejected. In addition, your appearance description must be 45 characters or less, and your dropped, death, leave, and enter messages must be 100 characters or less. If you do not submit a new description for a particular field, then the previous description will not be changed. In the case of mobs and pets, the pet's description must match the originating source of the mob. For example, a hound raised in a Brutality kennel or a hatched kestrel must maintain their natural origins. Slight mutations or embellishments are acceptable, but you cannot transform your hound into a being of pure demonic energy.
