12.7.8 The Barren Wastelands

A stinking, rotting marshland as far as the eye can see, the Barren 
Wastelands lay south of the city of Stavenn. Populated by a variety of 
spirits and vile creatures, the Wastelands are indeed a treacherous place to
venture. Many folk have thought to explore these treacherous lands having 
only found their own demise after being lost and joining the many others 
that have tried and died before them.
