The Sylayan race began as the survivors of Caanae's destruction sought refuge in the dense forests of Imperian. Under Moradeim's influence following the Awakening, they transformed into beings smaller and more agile than average tanari, with thin frames and pointed ears. Their profound connection to the forest sharpened their senses and intuition, allowing them to perceive its hidden pathways and secrets. They became one with the woodland realm, moving with the wind and harnessing the healing properties of plants more effectively than others. Their communities, often hidden in glades or treetop villages, are tight-knit and reflect their symbiotic relationship with the forest.
