This is an important post for shopkeepers with crafter's shelves, and for designers who intend to sell their designs.

When a design expires, shelfholders for that design WILL NOW BE REMOVED from the shelf on which they reside. The item will no longer be for sale in the shop, and will need to be placed back on the shelf should the design be refreshed. A note will be added to the shop log when this occurs.

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT:
One week from today, this will be applied RETROACTIVELY. That means that any shelfholders for already expired OR defunct designs will be removed next week. Refresh your designs if required!

It was never the intention that a design on a shelf should be a "get out of preservation free" card, and shelf holders sticking around introduced some subtle bugs that need to be cleaned up.
