We're once again looking for passionate members of Imperian's community to join the ranks of our dedicated Immortal volunteer team.
If you are chosen as an Immortal Volunteer, you will start off at the Celani rank and work on projects to rise through the ranks and eventually be given the option to play one of our God roles.
The first project that you will work on as a Celani is building a small area. All new Celani must build an area, as it gives an excellent introduction to item, mob, and room creation, which is something that all of our Immortal Volunteers must be familiar with.
After that initial project is complete, you can then work on any projects that you're interested in. Some of our Celani have advanced by working on bugs, others by continuing to build, and others still by working on roleplay events. Ultimately, we want you to have fun while helping Imperian, so we'll work with you to find promotion projects that you want to do.
All of our Immortal Volunteers must give up their mortal characters while they are helping as a volunteer. This is not permanent, though. At any time, you can retire as an Immortal to go back to playing your mortal, with no questions asked. Again, we want you to have fun!
If you're interested in becoming a Celani, please send the following information to celani@imperian.com:
1) All of your character names
2) Your real-life name
3) Your real-life birthdate
- I'm sorry, but we cannot legally accept anybody under 18
4) A short paragraph about why you think you would make a good Celani.
5) A short paragraph about what God you would want to play and why.
- Note: Playing a God is not a requirement. If you want to just help out
as a Celani forever, that's fine with us!
6) A short paragraph about your interests in becoming a Celani in Imperian. Are you a builder? Are you a roleplayer? Do you have any coding experience? What are you interested in that you can offer to Imperian?
7) Indicate your acceptance of all of the terms found in our volunteer agreement at http://www.imperian.com/volunteer_agreement.pdf. You don't have to sign it during the application process, but we will need an agreement on record before you can take over your new Celani character.
Unfortunately, we're never able to accept all of the applicants that apply. However, if you are not accepted, this does not mean that we feel you would not be a welcome member of the team. Imperian needs excellent players just as much, if not more, than we need excellent Gods. If you are not chosen as a Celani, there's a very good chance that you weren't chosen because we feel Imperian is better served with you as an influential player.
