Bounty in Celidon

Early Tenebrae in the year 562 AD, a dangerous looking man traversed the
woods of Celidon in search of assistance. Later identified as Al'shmir,
a bounty hunter, the man sought the help of the Council to track a
runaway priestess. Lewellyn Azaharel and Therian Eledhwen responded to
the call immediately, and listened to the man's tale.

It seemed that the woman had stolen a large sum of gold from Khoros, and
ran from Feinhorn with tales of murder and rape. The woman, Henia, was
found at the edge of the Egeria Forest, where she proclaimed her
innocence, claiming she had slain a guard to escape nothing less than
slavery in Khoros' care.

With the care and silence of any good bounty hunter, Al'shmir crept
behind a nearby bush and listened to the woman weaving her lies. As soon
as it seemed that Lewellyn and Therian might turn on him, Al'shmir
jumped out of the foilage, and denied all of the woman's claims. After a
brief argument, Al'shmir ripped apart Henia's pack and several
glimmering gold pieces fell from it.

Henia, realizing her plot was now foiled, dove at Lewellyn with a dagger
in hand in an attempt to make another great escape. Quickly, Lewellyn
and Therian struck down the woman, and Al'shmir took her corpse. As he
turned to collect his bounty, Lewellyn told Al'shmir that should he ever
need assistance again, Celidon would give it.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Tenebrae, in the year 562 AD.
