Late in the month of Fas, direwolves were spotted prowling around the
Council in small packs. At first they seemed to be searching for
something, but soon they turned their aggressions on the Ithaquans they
share their forest with. Jynnsis, Andrea, Stephen, and Bramondt fought
bravely, but were slain as the wolves found them alone. The Council
quickly mobilized, pulling together a hunt for the rogue wolves, headed
up by Dinosus and Ivarok. Meanwhile, Cymanom sought out the advice of
Rekhan Bonecaster and Onerigord, the hunter, to see if there was aught
could be done.

Both men seemed puzzled as to the wolves' reactions, but one thing
remained clear. Something, or someone, had unsettled the wolves. As more
people fell, the hunt was on in full force, and before too long, three
wolves were slain. Only then, did Relg Bonecaster speak up, sending word
to Dinosus that he might have an idea as to what the wolves were up to.

After much talk, and a little deductive reasoning on the part of
Dinosus, it was determined that the wolves had been stalking Idrasi
exclusively. When pressed, they revealed that, the previous month,
hunting for the wolves had begun in an effort to obtain their bones,
which are said to make excellent sitaras. It was determined, however,
that the price outweight the benefit, and by the word of the Idras, it
was decided that the direwolves would not be hunted for their bones any
longer. One can only hope the direwolves understand this...
