Invasion of Ogres

Earlier this month, on the 20th of Solis, a large group of Ogres stole
down from the Fort in the Eastern Nolmines, searching for a city to
pillage. They managed to reach Antioch quickly and without incident, as
the only outpost along the way, the city of Kinsarmar, was too busy
arguing in their Council chambers to see the army pass. Upon reaching
Antioch, the Ogres attacked in waves, killing many before the city
rallied to fend them off.

After his Ogres were slain, their leader, Chur, quickly fled back to his
Fort. However, a rallied force of Kinsarmarians and Antiochans gave
chase, and led by Aronus, found him in his Fort, slaying all Ogres in
their way, and eventually, the leader himself.

Whether by Necromancy or an agreement with Charon, Chur has managed to
revive himself, and is back to training the Ogres, perhaps readying yet
another assault. With such attacks happening in ever increasing
frequency, many are wary of these encampments in the Eastern Nolmines,
afraid that the Horde is simply testing the cities defenses while
encroaching ever closer.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Solis, in the year 406 AD.
