Days turned into months as the Hierophant of Skybreak met one
representative after the other. Magicker and Anti-Magicker alike had
grave misgivings over the slaves the Aeromancers claimed. No matter what
Jaenas told them, distrust seemed to rule the day.

So Jaenas set his sights on Stavenn. Meeting first with Evijan, then
Maglust and finally Verick before the Imperator granted Jaenas an
audience. Juganothion and Jaenas spoke for a long time and very small
concessions were made.

For three consecutive months the Imperator and Jaenas met. Jaenas
promised the power of Aeromancy to the Imperator, and Juganothion had
his own promises for the Hierophant. Finally, after three months, an
alliance was made. Stavenn was made aware of the ground concepts of this
alliance in a public announcement. Just one more month needed to pass
for the Hierophant to draw up a final version of the agreement.

When the Hierophant presented his treaty to the Imperator, they seemed
very much different from what was agreed upon. Jaenas tried to pass it
off as minor changes, but Juganothion saw right through the ploy. When
the Hierophant stomped off angrily, he swiftly returned, pouring his
troops into Stavenn.

Later, in the dungeons of Stavenn, Jaenas was resurrected into an undead
form. His troops had been slaughtered quickly and efficiently. Appalled
and angry he teleported to his tower. Stavenn, led by Verick, set out to
destroy Skybreak, and the undead form of Jaenas. He has since returned,
for Dis does not hold him, but he made it quite clear he has nothing
friendly for the world in store.
