As Kabr shone brightly on this mid-summer's day, Ruble, a dwarven miner
ran into Kinsarmar yelling for assistance. Coming to the Crossroads she
asked for assistance to rescue her mining partner Flint from a cave in.

Stepping up to the challenge, Sraiter boldly declared he would assist
and was quick to follow Ruble. Noticing only one was up for the task,
she encouraged Sraiter to find others to help as a lone Lorekeeper would
find the task a great challenge. Coming at Sraiter's call, the
Lorekeeper led a valiant group of people into the depths of the
Vardarian Highlands, seeking out the mine shaft that Flint was working
in.

As they wandered the hills, the exhaustion of the search took its toll
on a few of the travellers, falling to sleep as they walked. But the
adventurers, Eludien, Emalee, Ivellios, Kliko, Leax, Polaris and
Sraiter persevered until they found the miner encampment. Deciding the
best course of action was to excavate the stone out of the way, the
group mined for a quarter of a day, removing the large stones from
sight.

As the last granite piece was mined away, Eludien grabbed the stone and
freed the entrance to the mine shaft, allowing Flint to escape his
imprisonment. As Flint exited the shaft, he turned his attention to
Ruble, blaming her for the cave in. Madock, the camp leader quickly
appeared on the scene and settled the tensions, informing all present
about the three camps - cooks, masons and miners - and that all is not
perfect.
