Cleaning up the pieces

Days passed within the city of Antioch following the intrusions of the minstrel and his uncanny musical abilities. Though there was no more uncontrollable dancing, there was still the air of unease. After discussing it days prior with the Matron of Antioch, Kira Ashtear and Bina decided a ritual of cleansing would put both their minds at ease, and those of the citizens of the Holy City. With little time to spare, a prayer was prepared and the citizens of Antioch called forth to witness the blessings of their Patron Lord.

After a bit of confusion, many of those present within Antioch made their way to the Shuk to witness as Kira Ashtear called down the blessings of her God to aid in the protection of Antioch, and the removal of any possible remaining taint within her walls. A dark cloud hover menacingly overhead as Lord Vahin's powers were invoked, and ice and frost coated the city momentarily, bringing about the month's happenings to a possible resolution.

But though the city's concerns may have been for the moment relieved, the question still remains: Why did the traveling musician choose to lay such a claim at the feet of the Holy City, and will this be the last Antioch hears of him or his haunting melody?

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Tenebrae, in the year 643 AD.
