After resting broken for decades after the coming of the Legion, it seems the Mirror of Flesh has managed to knit itself back together!

Once used by Charon to ferry the souls of the dead back into the realm of the living for reincarnation, it seems both Charon and Chaken, the last Archpriest of Death beneath Thanatos, worked in secret to ensure the Mirror had a chance at reformation while the Legion's attention was turned elsewhere.

All was not well, however, and without the guiding hand of a God or Goddess, the Mirror was unable to fully restore itself. A veritable host of souls and those whom worked closely with the departed Divine have stepped forwards to pursue their vision of humanity's impending course.

The five factions which have formed are as follows:
- Charon and Chaken
- Sola'rae
- Ananda, Luriele, and Hadak
- The Pixe Queen (Tsianina)
- The Imp King (Oassaosh)

Mortals swiftly scattered across the globe and underworld, making inquiries and weighing their choices. Ultimately, Owyn was the first to pledge his assistance to none other than Chaken and Charon. Several others made their decisions shortly after, though many more are still deciding who to pledge their help to.

Who will triumph to see their plans for the Mirror succeed? Should souls begin to properly reincarnate, what does that mean for the Legion and his general, the Shade? The world waits with bated breath!
