After much anxiety, Harker proclaimed that he had finished the
translation of a note bearing some histories of those that followed the
path of the Warden in the past. The strange note told a tale of a young
man sealing the rift in years past with a weapon known as the
Worldweaver. Its whereabouts were now unknown, as after the sealing the
weakened hero was ambushed in the land of the Amazons.
The Queen of the Amazons, Raerka, at first refused to speak with the
male Harker, siting his inferiority due to gender. After a short while,
however, Harker managed to bring in his Mistress, Angeline, who spoke to
the Queen for him. The Queen revealed that yes, she did have the weapon,
however she would never release it into the hands of a man, and none
other but her tribe could use it to seal the Rifts. After much heated
debate, Harker grew angry and attempted to take the Worldweaver, but was
stopped by her guards.
After much more debate, the Queen would still not surrender the weapon,
leaving both sides at an impasse as to what to do. Finally, the Queen
agreed to a duel, which Harker won, gaining the rights to the weapon. He
quickly rushed to the Northern Rift, and began attempting to seal it.
Great waves of energy passed over the world, and when vision was
cleared, the Worldweaver lay destroyed, and the rift closed.
When Harker returned to speak with the Wendigo, his actions were deemed
sufficient to seek others for the Warden cause, and Harker was allowed
to open the ways as a Guild. The Wendigo also noted that Harker's
actions caused some sort of distortion, of which not even the spirit was
aware of the consequences. While the rifts may be gone, what of the
energy released, and its strange taste of magick?
