The beat of a drum
The slash of a claw
The ache of a wound

Thats what love is

The vixen in the warren
The antelope in the plains
The wolf at the honey

Thats where the love is

The pup with no parents
The cold heart that knows not
You and I

Thats where the love should be

(p.s this isn't me writing to or about Volpe *peer* and I happen to like
honey so thats to cover any confusion!)
