Wanderlust

Hither and thither
This way or that
Which way will it be today
It doesn't matter to me.

Exploring dirt roads rarely tread
Or down the sidewalk in a city
Rarely stopping for the lights
It doesn't matter to me.

Do I follow a guide today
Or maybe a friend
Or the wind or the stars
It doesn't matter to me.

North south east or west
Borders of a country
Or the confines of a room
It doesn't really matter to me.

I don't have any say in it really
The wanderlust bit me and cut deep to the wood
But then again...
It really doesn't matter to me.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Solis, in the year 426 AD.
