Space

We take life for granted
This has been established long ago.
But what we don't appreciate enough
Is space.
Nothingness.
If it wasn't for space
How would we travel?
If it weren't for a lack
What would we fill?
If everyone had everything
Would we appreciate anything?
Only those with nothing
Can appreciate everything.
With all the little miracles
That we see.
How can we possibly appreciate
What is not there?
Is the lack of anything
Any less of a miracle than everything?
Would the lack of everything
Make me appreciate nothing?
We can only appreciate
That which defines.
But I say love nothing
As much as you love anything.

Penned by my hand on the 15th of Solis, in the year 426 AD.
