Double Vision

Written by: Lady Icarus Da'Saison, The Heretic

I wonder if history was always this way,
Telling tall tales about a good saint gone astray.
Never asking clarifcation for the order of nows and thens.
Only persecuting the other for supposed sins.

They drip lies from their eyes,
Something red in that smile.
They speak truth in their sighs,
I think I'll stay here for a while.

I can't go home, I'm already here afterall,
I've chosen my way, for the rise and the fall.
Believe what you believe it's all the same in the end,
But now we're singing double visions just around the bend.

They drip lies from their eyes,
Something red in that smile.
They speak truth in their sighs,
My damnation worth all the while.

Penned by my hand on the 23rd of Naturalis, in the year 427 AD.
