Ashes in the Wind

This is what I live for
A defiant fist in the air
As all the things I held close
Shatter everywhere

This is what I breathe for
Broken bodies all around
You never cared for me at all
I think as I hit the ground

I can see into your eyes
As you're waiting for me
Now I'm but a whisper
A whisper in your bridge burning past

Just smile and fade away

All I had before this time
Just ashes in the wind
