Three Words

Three words I wish to speak
Deep in my heart it doth reach
Scared of those three syllables
Making my life miserable.

Three words I want to express
from a life that is truly a mess
Echoing deep in my soul
Which has become a vapid hole.

Three words I want to live
My lips unable to give
Three words echo true in my heart
In there unable to part

Those three words I want there to be
For you fill my heart full of glee.

For in the shadows I do mope
Trying hard to cope
Of these three words i want to say
But unable to this day.

So deep down in my heart
Where it will not part
For one day I do pray
To one day to you say
Those three words I want to say this day.
