I close my eyes.
I stand here alone,
Half a person, waiting... suspended...

A leaf falls downward,
Brushing across my cheek,
A reminder of your loving caress.

The wind picks up,
Blowing against my lips,
A reminder of your passionate kiss.

The sun shines brighter,
Warming my exposed skin,
A reminder of your body against mine.

I open my eyes,
Whispering I love you
And I know that I am whole... forever...
