What do you do when the world feels cold?
When you put everything aside from what you were told?
Do you move on and try to find a new life?
Or do you sit and cry, dealing with your strife?
Was it all really worth it, I wonder now.
Do I even wish to recite a prayer while I bow...
Am I lost, or am I found.
Do I need ties to be bound?
The stars above tell me it'll be alright,
But do the stars tell me what's warm at night.
I miss the embrace of those who cared..
Even though with them, this I didn't want to share.
I am hopeless and cannot find myself..
I suppose it is best to put that book back on the shelf.
