Soft grace upon my life
Gentle touch to a hardened hand
Oh, so humbled faith and trust

We sought our faces with our backs to the mirror

You gave me purpose

Two sides of a sovereign come together

The night steals away with my soul
You steal away with my heart
Quiet defiler of my defenses
Unknowing assassin of my walls

Breathless wonder you are

I tremble at our touch
My mind races at your voice
My heart sings of your sweet praises
From the shadows you light my path to purpose

You who knows no bounds, who walks free of things before
You who shows me my own lacking and cares not that it is there
You, you, oh wondrous thief, and no other is my heart so bound

My feet will shadow your path
My deeds will spoil you
