Times ahead are long and lonely,
Depression held over all else,
Nothing else mattering,
Nothing else seeming to help.

There's so much I need to say,
But don't think you'd listen,
No good it'd do anyways,
It's never going to happen.

A false hope, a lifeless dream,
All crumbled at the knees of me,
Things changing and ruining all,
Regret has taken it's toll.

All the times we once shared,
Flowing through my mind,
Nowhere else to go,
But misery it does stir.

The light shining brightly,
Reflected in my eyes,
The heavenly stars,
Gaze so bright.

Each flicker, each minue,
One after the other,
Muddled in twisted fate,
As the night carries on.

Each moment waiting,
For an answer I hope,
But forthcomes confusion,
A never ending cycle.

Like the love of my heart,
Forever it'll be,
Caught between two worlds,
Of you and me.

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Bellum, in the year 467 AD.
