Of the Wilds

Written by: Asakii Loegaire Bharathian

A distant music calls me
To wander through the forests
Drinking in the wonders
That the hoary trees pour forth.

My heartstrings thrum
With the excitement of the hunt
Chasing down my prey
Living the cycle of Nature.

I stare in awe, lost in time
As the tiny acorn stretches forth
Reaching over the centuries
To caress the sky with its limbs.

Sing, O Mortal Child!
Join in the Choir of the Wilds!
Dance with the Wild Lady
And know joy, and know peace.

Penned by my hand on the 25th of Bellum, in the year 468 AD.
