The Deed is Done

- The Deed is Done -

Behold the might of the demons sworn
And the rays of hope who dare contend
Watch the wards of heavens forlorn
Watch as the armies of Hell ascend

Seraphic sentries and Lords of Sin
Legions strong they line the hills
Resounding horns bid the battle begin
The masses charge immortal blood spills

Over crimson seas across burning plains
Atop the tallest mountains torn asunder
Angelic tears and black blood it rains
From clouded skies of raging thunder

Wicked blades clash upon shields of grace
And for each life lost a soul is won
God of Death with a smile on his face
Now at long last, the deed is done

Mother Darkness, Father Light
We all play a part on the Wheel of Life
And at the end of the spiral serve death, our birth right

- A special thanks to the Cleric Cassandra for her compelling
illustrations of an opposing alignment, whose work as not only served as
a tool of contrast, but an excellent demonstration of how light and
darkness revolve around one another. Remember always... The brighter the
light, the greater the your shadow.

Most Sincere,

H. Llor'on

Penned by my hand on the 22nd of Tenebrae, in the year 482 AD.
