Life and Death

So many wonders,
In this world of ours,

So many friends,
And loved ones to cherish,

But as nice as good may be,
Pain and terror will always be,

Hand in hand,
Like a couple in love,

Two seperate entities,
Unite within us,

Hatred and love,
Undying passions,

Within one soul,
They stir and appear,

One grasped tightly,
The other feared,

How different we all can be,
Yet similar in almost every way.

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Ferinus, in the year 496 AD.
