Poetry News Post #617

nothing

Written by: Seraphic Pride, Nepenthe

The silence
In stillness
Moments cherished

Enfolding heart
Blessed love
I'm so sorry, these things ebb from me too slow

A touch
The fire
So lost

Painful longing
Nothing more
And now I tread where seraphs fear to go

The depths
The emptiness
No words

Penned by my hand on the 7th of Ferinus, in the year 496 AD.
