A darkness fell upon the lands
A life was shattered by another's hands
So lost, confused, angered and sad
Feeling raped of what she thought she had

When light began to creep back in
Seeking out faith and those akin
Coming to terms and having no doubts
Trusting in faith leaving behind the pouts

Standing tall and showing her pride
Knew it was time to no longer hide
Faith growing stronger, and proud to be
An Asakii, for that's what is inside of me

I will put all my faith, in what I believe
And be proud to where it upon my sleeve
Holding my head high and not being weak
And the strength will come from that which I seek

So I will bide my time and do what I must
And put all I have in those that I trust
For a day will come when wrong turns to right
And those who have faith will stand in the light
