Explanation, or the forgetfulness of a poet

Right. I knew I would forget something.

The poem's sonnet styled, written about those lost to time, occasion,
death, or any number of other things. Sadness comes to all of us, but
happiness comes to, eventually, if we wait long enough and if we try
hard enough and if we want enough.

And everyone makes a difference, from a swallow's song to a Knight that
saves a child. The impact is always there.

Though a hole in the heart may mend with time, and help from others, it
is never gone--excepting crossing paths with the one that was lost. This
is done in many ways. Reuniting, coming to terms with her absence if she
is gone or dead, or simply loving the memories of him.

Poems have different meanings for everyone who reads them. Take your own
meaning from this, that's the point of it. It bears a special meaning to
me, but it does for all others who read it, as well.

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Halitus, in the year 533 AD.
