Poetry Contest--Formatted

In all the world, there are those who
Cast light upon those near--around.
From a stranger never met,
To a flower from the ground.
And though the sadness, ever spread,
Close behind will there come joy.
Here and there and lost again,
But a cycle not destroyed.
And even when the day seems grey,
And it seems that the joy won't stay.
And in the world, there's not a single soul
Who can fill up the empty feeling of a hole
Made by losing loved ones we have lost,
Excepting those who's paths that we have crossed--
And once upon a time will cross again,
Once upon a time--but who knows when?

Penned by my hand on the 4th of Halitus, in the year 533 AD.
