Memories

I remember when,
I would get butterflies at the sound of your voice..

Sweet innocence, playfully shy
Love in rare form
No disguise

I remember when,
I would smile seeing your face..

True wonders, found in your eyes
Love in rare form
No lies

I remember when,
I would give anything for your happiness..

Purpose, comfort in your arms
Love in rare form
No disguise

Now all I can feel is dispare,
At how easly I am replaced..

Betrayal, masks fall away
Love has faded
True lies

Now all I can feel is sadness,
At how I am a nothing to you anymore..

Emptiness, love has died
Love has faded
True disguise

Now all I can feel is pain,
At how easily you can walk away..

-Desari

Penned by my hand on the 9th of Halitus, in the year 587 AD.
