Song of the Seasons

May the seasons last forever,
an eternal loop in time.
May the music they produce
keep up its mighty rhyme.

May the spring keep its foliage,
its scent and its color,
inspiring us to reach out
with our love for one another.

May the summer keep its shine,
its radiance and vigor,
embracing with its warmth
and promises of splendor.

May the fall keep its color,
its reds and gold's abound,
giving peace and contentment
with its placid sound.

May the winter stay the same,
so noble and so pure,
granting us a world of beauty,
though it won't endure.

The underlying harmony,
its pitch and its pace,
is seen within the seasons,
their beauty and their grace.

Though the time each lasts
is not very long,
we can still take note and imitate
by listening to their song.
