Moradeim's Gift

Written by: Mynx Desari Eledhwen, Mistress of Ceremonies

They stole away
Soon to be
The first of thier kind
Under the light
Of Moradeim
A change did grow
With fur, claws and tail
Joyous howls filled them all
Under the guidance of Lyria
They survived
Except for a few
Who were a shamed of thier pelts
Whispers of hope of freedom from it
Caught the ears of one named Kaylei
Mate to Lyria's son
They listened to the evil
That spilled forth from Morvere's lip
The promise of skin, for the head of his mother.
Together they agreed
And sliped through the night
To the den where She laid asleep
Soon a dagger did fly
Straight for her
As if a six sense she had
She doadged that dagger
Leaping to her feet
Only to have a blade pressed to her throat
Confusion over came
As whispers told of what has become
Kaylei leap in hopes of killing
But the change over came her as it did Samur
Both rolled on the ground as fur did grow
Quickly Lyria snatched up the dagger
And plunged it deep into Kaylei
To turn to her son
Watching as he transformed
Into a wild grey wolf
Intellegence now gone
A sudden rustle was all the warning
As Morvere appeared
To finsh what he came to do
Soon he fled knowing all were awake
With promises of returning
Running paws made thier way
As Lyria fainted to awake another day
When she did
Memories flooded her mind
She vowed to be ready
For Morvere's return

Kiandre and Valethar have been with me since last year, and are instrumental with the work they have done for the…

Onward to 2021

Hi folks! This year has been a challenge on many of us, and I can only hope the next year goes by more smoothly. Having said that, we have reached the end of 2020, woo! This was my first not-quite-a-year on Imperian, and it has been a whole learning experience. It has been a bit…
