The Desert's Pride

Written by: Spirit of the Wildcat, Iluov Anar, Parched Priestess

The desert's pride,
Is as deep as the oceans are wide.
The desert's pride,
Is something that is hard to hide.

The desert is made,
Of sand and stone.
The desert is watched,
By flesh and bone.

Antioch's streets are stained red,
With blood of enemies and friends.
Let us hope that appetites are fed,
So this unreasonable fight shall end.

Others may point and nod,
Laughing and smirking.
But this is our desert sod,
And we know those that are lurking.

Traitors will come and hurt our hearts,
And thieves will steal our gold.
Dear Antioch, how I know it smarts,
But do not let these lies take hold.

So Antioch,
Let show your desert pride,
So Antioch,
There's nothing to hide.

Rally together and stand straight,
Throw off their laughter.
Forget their hate,
Our own is all that matters.

We stand together,
Under the Suns and the Lion and the Dove.
We stand together,
Full of pride and brotherly love.

Penned by my hand on the 14th of Solis, in the year 411 AD.
