Wow.

I didn't realize that level of pretentious self indulgence -existed-.
You have the nerve to call poetry personal and then act like if anyone
does it for any reason other than yours, they're wrong? People can write
whatever they want for whatever reason they want, it's called freedom.
If I want to write a poem to entertain someone, that's my perogative. It
doesn't make me less a 'true poet' than you. If I want to write a powem
for money, that's my call too. Not that I'm about to enter this contest,
I just can't abide by egotistical stupidity.

Here's the thing, buddy... You're not the gift of the Gods to Aetherius,
here to tell us how and why to write. You're just some guy who writes
poems. They might be good poems but they aren't the -only- poems. The
reason someone writes something doesn't diminish the worth of the work,
if it happens to be a good bit of writing. And there's certainly nothing
wrong with encouraging people to write, giving those who show some
creative prowess a bit of a reward. If Nuada wants to do that, who
cares? Does it affect you? Not in the least, unless you enter. So, you
know, suck it up. There's no reason to ruin other people's fun 'cause
you don't like it. Selfish -and- pretentious, niiiice.

Oh, and as for the war thing, it's just a word. I don't recall any such
lofty statement that the essence of War itself is attaching itself to
poetry, it's just the name chosen. Really, I don't think Aesir's order
need be so insecure. Nothing wrong with poetry in relation to war
anyway. Ever heard of a warrior poet?

And here's a disclaimer, I have nothing to do with this poetry contest
or anything, so don't bug Nuada about what I'm saying. I'm just speaking
up because I'm annoyed. Bug me if you must.
